Postdoc Oleksandr Rybalko participated in European Microwave Week 2016 3-7 October in London.

European Microwave Week is an important conference for both academia and industry in the microwave sector.

"I got a lot of useful input and contacts at companies offering new cutting-edge solutions that I may be able to adapt and incorporate into my research in radiofrequency components for DNP instrumentation"
Oleksandr Rybalko, Postdoc

Postdoc Oleksandr Rybalko from DTU Elektro's Center for Magnetic Resonance and the HYPERMAG CoE participated in the weeklong event.

"The EuMW 2016 provided great opportunities for networking as well as presentation of the most recent advances in the microwave area", says Oleksandr. "In particular, I was looking for new solutions for high-efficient waveguide structures and frequency multipliers. I got a lot of useful input and contacts at companies offering new cutting-edge solutions that I may be able to adapt and incorporate into my research in radiofrequency components for DNP instrumentation".

Oleksandr works on hardware components for the optimization of the polarization process involved in Dynamic Nuclear Polarization in order to enhance the sensitivity of DNP. He presented a poster on his latest work at the conference.
